BBC Breakfast viewers were furious today after an interview about the missing submarine at the Titanic wreckage saw one man who made the same trip say "experts are making mistakes".Mike Reiss was a guest on the morning news show to talk about his experience on the submarine. The discussion was surrounding a submarine which has been missing since yesterday afternoon with five people onboard including British billionaire Hamish Harding.Mike went on to describe his experience as "very relaxing, very comfortable" and even fell asleep on the way down to see the wreckage.

He added: "It couldn't be lower tech, you just drop down for 2 and half hours." "The ship is propelled by very tiny motors that look like a fan you would have on your desk and it is steered by an X-box joystick from a game system."You are very taken with how simple it is."Mike said during his journey the team also experienced some technical faults whilst down there adding: "It's pitch dark down there and the radar, the compass stopped working.

We spent most of our time down there just flailing around, trying to find the biggest thing in the ocean."When they did find the Titanic, he said they had 20 minutes at the site which was "enough for a photo opportunity".Describing the experience, Mike said: "You drop like a stone and at the end you pop up like a cork."With his own experience, the guest gave his own verdict on what could happen to the missing craft. He said: "I am not optimistic.

I know how vast the ocean is and how very tiny this craft is. It is a beautifully designed craft."It is meant to go down further than any other vessels can go.
