The Apprentice has returned for its 18th series, and one of the contestants is Dr Asif Munaf who has a lot to prove after facing the brutal boardroom last week in the bottom three.

Some viewers might remember him from another business TV show, Dragons' Den, where he tried to get a £50,000 investment for his Smoothie brand DATE.

Asif didn't manage to secure any offers from the Dragons, which he calls his "biggest fail" in business. He told the BBC at the time: "Was far too early but I learnt some great business insights from the Dragons." During his time on Dragons' Den, Asif had a disagreement with Deborah Meaden about his smoothie branding.

She told him he was "completely wrong", but Asif insisted: "I think my branding is quite strong actually", reports Wales Online.
