Fans of BBC show Race Across The World are calling the end of the series a 'fix'.Viewers have accused producers of bribing people into providing lifts for contestants after a pair were robbed of a 14-hour head start.The third series has been coated in controversy as this time, the Race Across The World was confined to just Canada and many of the contestants relied on taxis or the same public transport as one another.

On Wednesday night the winner of the BBC show was revealed. However, some viewers are saying the final episode was a little suspicious in places as they raced across Newfoundland reports Yorkshire Live.Fans saw Tricia and Cathie win the third series and many called the duo 'absolute legends' as they reached the final destination, the lighthouse at Spear Point before Monique and Ladi and Zainib and Mobeen.But others said that the pair were helped by producers and gifted a free lift earlier on in the episode.Throughout the episode, we saw the couple given a place to stay for the night by people who told them they wouldn't be able to drive them.The following morning, the couple changed their tune and offered to take them to St John's, which was very close to the final checkpoint- which helped their strategy, which was to get the shorter, earlier ferry - and ultimately that helped them win the £20,000 grand prize.One viewer even went as far as mentioning the word 'bribery' from producers, though it seems unlikely.@girlgottadoo said: "Oh how convenient.
