BBC EastEnders fans ‘rumble’ birth parent twist for George Knight after murder bombshell
ok.co.ukEver since George Knight’s parents arrived in Albert Square earlier this year, the EastEnders newcomer has found his life turned upside down as secret after secret emerged regarding his identity.
For all of his life George had known he was adopted by a white family, but in recent weeks it had since transpired that George was actually adopted via a process called “farming” in which wealthy white families were paid to adopt black children during the 60s and 70s.
Initially shocked by the news, George was able to accept it and make peace with his mum and dad, while wondering why his birth family had never tried to reclaim him, but this week the story took a shocking turn, when it was revealed that George’s racist dad Eddie had only reached out to him so that he could be a character reference, as Eddie was facing a charge for racially aggravated murder!
In a further twist, while researching the case online, George stumbled across a photo of the murder victim and was instantly blind-sided by their identity, with several fans believing it could actually be George’s birth father.Taking to social media to share their thoughts one fan wrote: “I reckon Eddie killed George's bio dad because he had an affair with Gloria, resulting in George, hence the an antagonism towards him and his racism in general.
