TV presenter Ashley James has opened up about the birth of her second child, revealing that the “wonderful” and “controlled” experience didn’t go “without complications”.
Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley, who welcomed her second child, Ada, with partner Tommy Andrews into the world last month, took to Instagram to open up about her birth experience in what marks Caesarean Awareness Month.
The 36 year old used the occasion to discuss how she felt giving birth for the second time and explained that she’d opted for an elective caesarean, saying that it was “exactly what I needed after my first birth.” Sharing a series of snaps of herself after giving birth, Ashley looked radiant as she cuddled baby Ada and her two year old son Alfie while the Palace of Westminster could be seen in the background.
She wrote: “It felt so surreal going into the operating room knowing we were about to meet her in a few minutes.
