A Chinese Apple Store has reportedly claimed the reason iPhone 15s are heating up is because users are charging them with Android cables.
The latest instalment in Apple's mobile phone series, the iPhone 15 was released on September 15. During a keynote presentation by Apple chiefs, they announced a list of new features for the phone including an upgraded camera, an upgraded operation system and a host of new colourways for the phone like pink, black, blue green and yellow. The port which is used for charging and data transfer has replaced Apple's Lightning cable port which was debuted with the iPhone 5 back in 2012.
The move came after Apple were ordered to do so by the European Union to make it more convenient for the consumer. It was met with great fanfare as a majority of devices ranging from phones to laptops and game controllers use USB-C.
