Strictly Come Dancing favourite Anton Du Beke seems to have distanced himself from former co-star Giovanni Pernice.Having both featured in the popular BBC dance competition for several series, as well as presenting a travel programme and embarking on a nationwide tour together, it appears their joint ventures may have reached their finale.

After Giovanni faced unsubstantiated bullying claims on Strictly which he has vehemently denied, their related travel show was subsequently cancelled, the Mirror reports.Now that they've wrapped up their tour, Strictly judge Anton indicated he's poised to step out solo.

During a chat on The One Show aired Wednesday, Anton couldn't contain his excitement about his upcoming solo tour named Showman, set to commence this October, and talked up his forthcoming book release.Noticeably, there wasn't much acknowledgment of Giovanni in the interview, with Anton choosing instead to extol the new Strictly contenders, clearly moving away from the Italian who will be appearing on a rival program back in Italy.
