Amanda, known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, 48, is alleged to have been with 71 year old businessman Robert Davies for five years, despite putting on a united front with Clive for their show, Our Yorkshire Farm.
Insiders say Clive, 67, who is the father of Amanda's nine children, endured years of whispers about her having affairs during their marriage.
A source close to Clive told MailOnline: "People might have felt concerned about him because he had a tough time when they first split but he's moved on now. "Over the years he's had to endure rumours about affairs that Amanda is supposed to have had.
Whether they were true or not, it's something he's had to live with. "It didn't split them up, but it’s prepared him for the day when she found someone new.
