Amad leaves stadium on crutches after injury in Manchester United vs Arsenal
manchestereveningnews.co.ukAmad left the MetLife Stadium on crutches after suffering a twisted ankle in Manchester United’s friendly win against Arsenal.
The winger was introduced at half-time with United already 2-0 up against the Gunners, but he went down injured after around 10 minutes on the pitch, holding his ankle.
There was nobody near Amad when he went down and he struggled to hobble around the pitch after limping away, needing help from two United medics.
Facundo Pellistri came on to replace him after 59 minutes. Amad went into a medical room at the MetLife Stadium to get treatment and emerged on crutches with strapping on his ankle.
