All lines are blocked at Salford Crescent train station this morning due to a 'trespass incident'. Police are currently on the scene at the station, as well as Network Rail officers.
All Northern routes through the station are affected. Disruption is expected to last until at least 8am this morning, with trains running through Salford either cancelled or delayed.
Routes affected include between Manchester Airport and Blackpool North, Barrow-in-Furness and Windermere, between Blackburn, Clitheroe and Rochdale and between Blackburn, Leeds and Stalybridge.
