Adele Roberts paid tribute to her radiographers as she attended a scan the day after running the London Marathon – and took her medal along too.
The 44-year-old, who began using a stoma bag in 2021 after surgery for bowel cancer, became the fastest woman to complete the London Marathon with a stoma bag during Sunday's race.
The day after setting the world record, Adele returned to the hospital for a CT scan, taking her medal with her to pay tribute to her radiographers.
Sharing snaps of herself putting the medal on one of the medical workers, Adele penned a length caption, which began: "Medical Medal Monday [medal emoji]. "'Are you wearing any metal?' That chat was a bit different today haha.There’s no way I would have finished yesterday’s marathon without the people in this photo - Isabella and Christopher - and their wonderful colleagues.
