Sadly it seems these days, the art of playing out and childhood games are becoming a thing of the past. Recent research conducted by home builders Redrow found two-thirds of parents say that their kids spend less time playing outside than they did at the same age.
Surveying 2,000 parents of children aged four to 17, the research also found a third of youngsters never play in their street and only 30% regularly visit their local park.
