In case you didn't receive the message, autumn is finally here. The days of dining al fresco and after-work pints in the beer garden may now be a distant memory, but the change of seasons brings with it a whole host of new and exciting events and activities.

In September we dined out at the massive new food hall, Kargo Market at Salford Quays, tried out the new live action video game karting experience at Old Granada Studios and danced like nobody was watching as early 00s band Busted and country legend Shania Twain took to the stage.

Now, as we the nights draw in, it's hard to resist the urge to simply curl up under a blanket and watch tv, but if you do venture out there's plenty of things going on across Greater Manchester to get you into the autumn spirit.

There's beautiful walks where you can feel the crunch of orange leaves underfoot, spooky Halloween events for all the family and some very exciting new restaurants to try out.
