Zac Efron shares update following hospitalisation in Ibiza

The message was accompanied by a picture of Efron working out with weights while resting his body on a gym ball.The incident took place on Friday night (August 2) and led to Efron being pulled out of a pool in a villa in Ibiza by two workers who found him “in distress”.He was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure and was released the following morning.
Representatives for Efron confirmed that he is “fine”. It is unclear what might have caused his distress or if he was at risk of drowning.Earlier this week, the actor appeared on stage with Martin Garrix during a performance at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club in the Spanish city.
Footage of the performance captured him dancing alongside the DJ to cheers from the crowd.This year, Efron starred in comedy films Ricky Stanicky and A Family Affair, following his dramatic turn as wrestler Kevin von Erich in The Iron Claw, which was distributed by A24.His partnership with A24 will continue with the upcoming film Famous, in which he plays its two leading roles.
