A yob battered on a Motherwell man's front door with a baseball bat during the early hours of the morning.Christopher Dundas was also seen trying car door handles in the area, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard this week.Dundas, 34, was jailed for 10 months after he admitted charges of breach of the peace and attempted theft.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

He was arrested nearby after a short chase."Dad-of-two Dundas admitted a long list of previous convictions and defence lawyer Ian Scott said he has mental health issues as well as problems with alcohol and valium.Mr Scott told the court: "The occupier of the
