He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Police taped off Wellington Street and a major an investigation was launched. Twelve police vehicles, two fire engines and ambulance crews were in attendance.
Cops previously said that a pedestrian was involved and they have now confirmed a 40-year-old has died.A post-mortem has yet to take place.
However, the family of the woman has been informed, reports Glasgow Live.Police believe that the woman had been dropped off in Wellington Lane prior to her being struck by the vehicle.
