Woman rushed to hospital following crash in Stalybridge

A woman was rushed to hospital by paramedics this evening following a collision in Stalybridge. Emergency services were scrambled to Mottram Road at 6:38pm tonight (Thursday February 23) to reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

Fire crews said one woman was assessed by fire service trauma technicians on the scene before being taken to hospital by paramedics.

Her exact condition is not known. "The incident was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one casualty was assessed by fire service trauma technicians before paramedics arrived and took her to hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters were on scene for forty-five minutes."
