William and Kate's hidden message in family Christmas card with Duke no longer centre of attention

Kate Middleton and Prince William sent a “powerful signal” in their new Christmas card family photo with their three kids, a body language expert has claimed.

The snap shows the Prince and Princess of Wales with their sons Prince George and Prince Louis and daughter Princess Charlotte as the five of them smile at the camera.

The Wales family are all wearing black trousers and shoes with white shirts as Kate and William stand at the back of the photograph with their eldest son George, 10.Five-year-old Prince Louis is seen standing infront of his father, who has right hand on his shoulder while Charlotte, eight, is seated at the forefront of the image with her mother directly behind her.

According to body language expert Judi James, the pictures show a hidden “strength and confidence”, the Mirror reports. Speaking to the Sun, she said : “This monochrome photo might not suggest a typical Christmas look but it is a very powerful signal that the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their three children, would like to announce the fact they are a very cool and a very unbreachable family unit. “The strong sense of tight, loving ‘uniformed’ grouping and the stark monochrome, plus the relaxed and confident body language looks like the emotional equivalent of them having a moat and drawbridge around them.
