Fans were disappointed to learn the stylist behind one of television’s most iconic fashionistas wouldn’t be acting as costume designer for “And Just Like That.” However, she did make a quick return to the “Sex and the City” fold, specifically to style Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones, for the actress’ highly anticipated return. “It was important for me to do her justice for her long-awaited reappearance,” Field exclusively told The Post. “I love styling Kim as Samantha.
Not only do Kim and I have a long-standing personal relationship and get along great, but we both understand the Samantha character.” And the assignment of dressing the sassy and sexy character was equally as important to the actress.Getting Cattrall to reprise her role was no simple task after she famously feuded with her co-stars and rejected multiple offers.
