Delap spent last season in the Championship with Stoke City and Preston North End. He endured mixed spells at both clubs, returning from Stoke in January in what was his first senior loan.
He'll now be working under Rosenior, who has a reputation for developing and nurturing young talent. The Hull boss was delighted to get the deal over the line and believes Delap will be a perfect fit for their play style.
He revealed the Yorkshire club fought off significant competition to land his signature.
