A huge Premier League meeting will take place in Harrogate today after Manchester City launched legal action against the Premier League this week.

On Tuesday it was revealed that Manchester City were launching legal action against the Premier League over its recently passed associated party transaction (APT) that gained the approval of the 14 majority needed to bring it into competition law.

While a time for the meeting has not been revealed, it will have the presence of all top-flight club executives and is expected to be tense since City has come forward.

Between ten and 12 clubs are reported to be in support of the Premier League to defend itself against City. Pep Guardiola's team, recently crowned Premier League champions for the fourth time in a row and the sixth time in seven years, will face off in an arbitration hearing between June 10 and 21.
