Locals living in 'Britain's most haunted village' say that 'every home there has a ghost' - including the spirits of monks, soldiers, witches and animals.

Some residents living of the ancient village of Dunster in Somerset say almost every building is haunted. They claim ghosts stalk the houses, castle, pubs and hills.

Dunster was once home to a large Benedictine chapel which was destroyed when Henry VIII was King - an act which apparently saw it flooded with ghosts.

Locals say they have heard 'voices' in their homes and have seen 'books flying from shelves'.
