Universal Studios Orlando Announces Epic Universe Opening Date

Big news unveiled for the Universal Orlando Resort! Universal Studios‘ upcoming new Epic Universe park is set to open it’s gates in 2025 and they just revealed the exact date.

The new park will be the fourth addition to the Universal resort in Orlando, joining Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and water park Volcano Bay. Keep reading to find out more… Epic Universe will consist of four new portals – The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe – with 50 new experiences, including rides, shopping, entertainment and more.

In addition to the four sections of the park listed above, Epic Universe will also be home to Celestial park, which will be entrance area to the park, as well as the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a 500-romm on-property hotel from Loews Hotel with its own dedicated entrance into the the park for hotel guests (with a valid park admission).

The highly-anticipated new theme park will officially open on May 22, 2025, and select multi-day tickets and vacation packages will go on sale beginning NEXT Tuesday (October 22). “This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year,” Karen Irwin, President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, said in a statement. “With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic!
