Tyson Fury is facing a massive bill over the use of land at a house he owns in Cheshire. The world heavyweight boxing champion was named alongside his dad John and his brother Shane in a civil trial brought by Cheshire East Council.
Town hall bosses say the trio owe an alleged £82,000 in unpaid council tax over an area of land which was used as a car park.
The land - at the Styal house - was rented for £600 a month to a firm which used it as a car park for holiday makers flying from nearby Manchester Airport. He said he had put his sons on the land registry for the property “some 20 years ago” after "a fight with the wife". But he said neither Tyson, from Morecambe, or his brother had “anything to do with it”.
