John, renowned BBC racing commentator, has been in the media spotlight following the horrific murder of his wife and two daughters at their residence in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Carol Hunt, aged 61, together with her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.The suspected perpetrator, 26 year old Kyle Clifford, faced a manhunt before being apprehended near a North London cemetery, injured but alive.

Despite no gunshots being involved, the suspect required hospital treatment for his injuries, as noted by the police.
