Tributes paid to 'Grumpy' Gloucester taxi driver who always helped others

Gloucester taxi driver has paid tribute to him after he lost his battle with a short illness. She has shared memories of how they first met and how three months later they were married for 55 years.

Antony Cinderey, 81 from Gloucester, was known to most as Tony. He was born January 15 in 1942 and died on April 18. Tony went to Bilson Primary School and then on to Double View Secondary School in Cinderford.

They were set up on a blind date and Lyn says they just hit it off as soon as they met. Tony and Lyn married and lived in Victoria Street in Gloucester in and then moved to Tredworth in 1980.
