As Dermot marked his 51st birthday, a string of his celebrity pals, including Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and even Kylie Minogue, sent in hearty birthday wishes via a video.
During the celebrations, co-host Alison Hammond revealed Dermot's age, exclaiming: "Do you know what? It's a lovely age!" She then made a hilarious comment about their age difference, saying; "I'm still in my forties, darling!" This birthday was different for Dermot who, for the first time, chose to celebrate it at work instead of taking the day off.The revelation of Dermot's age amazed viewers, with them rushing to social media to express their disbelief that he scarcely looks a day over 40.
