As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, demand for rural properties has soared over the past couple of years. This means purchasing that dream cottage in an idyllic village is a more expensive prospect than it once was.Among the Scottish destinations featured in the article are Gullane in East Lothian, Elie in Fife, and Strathtay in Perthshire.
Killearn in Stirling and Galkirk also makes an appearance on the list.Gullane is located on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth, and is perhaps best known for its award-winning beach that locals and travellers alike flock to over the summer months.
