A trawl of CCTV across two cities - and analysis of phone-cell evidence - is continuing three months into a murder investigation.

Police have checked hundreds of hours of footage after the discovery of human remains. Specialist officers with cadaver dogs, underwater search teams and forensic staff have checked 16 different locations in connection with the death of Stuart Everett.

Their starting point for a operation was Kersal Dale, a wooded area off Bury New Road, Salford. On April 4, parts of Mr Everett's body were found there wrapped in cellophane.

Scores of officers were dispatched to the location, and the adjoining Kersal Wetlands nature reserve, and spent several weeks scouring the area for further evidence.
