Naman Ramachandran India-based Banijay Asia has signed with CAA for representation. “Banijay Asia and CAA will work closely to unlock creative opportunities across content and entertainment,” the companies said in a statement. “The alliance aims to boost Banijay Asia’s talent and well-known intellectual properties into uncharted territories, unlocking new avenues for growth and international collaborations.

Banijay Asia and CAA will facilitate a mutual exchange of expertise, resources, and market insights, delivering compelling content that resonates across cultures.” Banijay Asia has plans underway for India to be the international production hub for global reality formats “Survivor” and “Temptation Island,” with the country serving as the hub for both Asian and international versions of the shows.

On the scripted side, The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia’s Indian adaptation of “The Night Manager” emerged as the most watched series ever in the history of Disney+ Hotstar and the streamer’s “The Trial – Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha,” the Indian adaptation of CBS series “The Good Wife,” received glowing reviews.

Following the full buy-out of Endemol Shine India from CA Media, earlier this year Banijay combined Endemol Shine India and Banijay Asia under the leadership of Deepak Dhar, who was appointed the founder and group CEO of the merged entity.
