The Last Dinner Party have announced a ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ film, following their debut album of the same name.The film will arrive on September 12, and the five-piece have invited fans to watch it with them at the premiere in Soho, London – and you can register here for the chance to attend.

If you don’t get tickets, you can view it on YouTube at 8pm the same day instead.They announced the news on X, formerly Twitter, writing: “‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ the film, coming September 12th.

We cordially invite you to feast your eyes upon it with us at our London Premiere in Soho.”The band formed in 2021, and have enjoyed an impressive rise since releasing their debut single ‘Nothing Matters’ in April 2023.

Last December, they were awarded the Rising Star BRIT Award ahead of Caity Baser and Sekou, and shortly after won the BBC Sound of 2024 poll.‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ came out on February 2, and hit Number One in the UK, becoming the debut album to sell the most copies in its first week in nine years, after ‘Communion’ by Years & Years.
