Connor Morris is preparing to take his lawnmower out of the gardens and onto the streets this May, by walking with it from Runcorn to Manchester.

The walk will take him around nine hours, with '25 miles' to cover, beginning in the old town centre in Runcorn and ending in Manchester city centre.

The large walk will see him pass through Warrington, Dunham Massey and Sale on the way to his end point on Monday 20th May. Connor, 17, is taking on this lengthy challenge to support the Stroke Association, who helped care for his grandad earlier this year after he suffered a stroke in February, at only 59 years old.

The charity supported him through the aftermath and the physical health problems it caused.
