Ange Postecoglou admits his vibrant Tottenham Hotspur side took inspiration from Manchester United favourite Cristiano Ronaldo when opting to unleash Son Heung-min as a central striker.
Son, 31, plundered his eighth goal in 10 matches this season during an important win over Crystal Palace on Friday night. That result means Tottenham are clear at the Premier League summit.
Renowned as a left-sided forward, the South Korean was appointed Tottenham captain this summer with former skipper Hugo Lloris playing no part and Harry Kane signing for Bayern Munich.
And Son has also replaced Kane in leading the Tottenham line.
