‘The Boys’ Season 5 Casts ‘Stranger Things’ Alum Mason Dye

variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter “The Boys” Season 5 has cast Mason Dye in a guest star role, Variety has learned. Dye will appear in the role of Bombsight.
Exact character details are being kept under wraps, but the character was previously mentioned in Season 4 of “The Boys” as a Supe who starred in the early Vought superhero film “The Curse of Fu Manchu” in the 1950’s.
According to sources, Bombsight could also potentially appear in the upcoming prequel series “Vought Rising” opposite Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.
Reps for Amazon and Sony Pictures Television declined to comment on the “Vought Rising” component of the casting. Dye is the latest new cast member to join “The Boys” Season 5, which will also be the show’s last season.
