The big developments that will change the face of Manchester in 2024

Manchester's development boom, which has seen the city's skyline transformed in under 20 years, showed no signs of slowing down in 2023.

It's the same story for 2024. There are a swathe of new projects coming to the city centre which are going to alter its silhouette at sunset once more.

While some are nearing completion, many more get going in earnest in the next 12 months. Set to open this year is Co-op Live, the UK's largest indoor arena with 23,500 seats, next to the Etihad Stadium.
