Strictly's Kai Widdrington says 'it's 'important we got it right' before meeting Nadiya's daughter
ok.co.ukKai Widdrington has shared a rare glimpse into his relationship with Strictly Come Dancing co-star Nadiya Bychkova.The couple both appeared on Loose Women on Tuesday, 27 February to discuss their joint tour and romance.
Kai, 28, and Nadiya, 34, who are both professional dancers on Strictly, went public with their romance in June 2022 and have remained loved-up ever since.The pair work together on the BBC One show and are also set to embark on a UK tour, Behind The Magic, in June 2024.Things appear to be getting serious between the pair, with Kai having met and formed a bond with Nadiya's daughter Mila, seven.The dancer shares Mila with Slovenian footballer Matija Skarabot, who she was previously engaged to.
Kai branded Mila one of "cleverest little girls" as he opened up about meeting her. He also spoke about how he and Nadiya navigated the situation as their romance progressed. "It was very important that we get it right.
First of all when we got together, we wanted to make sure that we want to be together and it's all going to go well," Kai told the Loose Women panel.
