New ITV drama Passenger starts tonight, with mysterious happenings in the northern town of Chadder Vale. Viewers will see the small town nestled in a spectacular valley as detectives try to piece together the disappearances of youngsters in the seemingly tight-knit community.

Chadder Vale is the fictional town at the heart of the drama. But the setting was the real life village of Cornholme on the Lancashire and West Yorkshire border.

The village community welcomed cast and crew with "open arms" for the filming of the new six part drama across the early part of 2023. And it was only by chance that he found Cornholme while travelling through Todmorden and West Yorkshire hunting for filming locations.
