Strictly Come Dancing sensation Gorka Marquez has opened up about his fear of missing out on his children’s milestones, as he continues to work as a professional dancer on tour.

The dancing star, 32, is a proud father to two children, Mia and Thiago, after his fiancé Gemma Atkinson welcomed their second baby, back in July.

Documenting their parenting journey as part of a new series, Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens, Gorka admitted parenthood had been far from smooth sailing, as he shared his regrets at having missed out on several key moments in daughter Mia’s life as he had been on tour with Strictly at the time.

In a candid discussion, Gorka said: “It’s hard for me because I’m away quite a lot with my job. " "Sometimes I feel like I’m missing some of the best things of parenthood.
