The couple welcomed their second child into the world in July and shortly afterwards, Gorka had to leave for work. The 32-year-old had to leave the family home and head to London where Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals were taking place just days after son Thiago made his grand entrance on July 17.
But as well as leaving Gemma, who he met on the dance show in 2017, and their newborn behind, he also had to say goodbye to four-year-old daughter Mia.
Gorka has, however, been making the trip home during the time he has off in order to spend quality time together as a family of four but it now appears the dancer is home for a longer stint ahead of the 21st series of the BBC One dance contest kicking off later this month.
