Strictly's Ellie Leach hails 'people who are good for your soul' as she lifts lid on painful split
ok.co.ukEllie Leach has opened up about her emotional journey following her split from Reagan Pettman.The actress, who last year took home Strictly Come Dancing's Glitterball trophy with dance partner Vito Coppola, candidly spoke about the split during an Instagram Q&A.
One fan asked the former Coronation Street star - who was later linked to fellow Strictly contestant Bobby Brazier - how she dealt with her break-up, to which she replied with a photo of herself and her close friend Jade Mcivor.
She wrote: "II was so lucky to have such a supportive family and friends around me, especially this one @jademcivor. "Time is a healer and surrounding yourself with people who are good for your soul helps massively." She also credited Strictly for providing a positive focus during a tough time, adding: "I also think Strictly helped a lot, focusing my mind on something completely new and different and keeping busy but also allow yourself to feel sad if you need to, it's a process." In a recent episode of the reality show Drama Queens, which follows a number of soap actress, including Ellie, during their day-to-day lives, the star was left in tears after discovering her ex-boyfriend had spoken to the press about their relationship.
During a catch-up with her mum in Liverpool, Ellie revealed her ex had sold a story about their relationship to a newspaper.
