BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is currently battling with yet another performance issue, as a star is fighting against time to be ready for tonight's live performance.The Mirror reports that Adam Thomas has yet to be confirmed for this evening's live performance of Strictly, with BBC bosses making 11th hour 'contingency arrangements'.The 35-year-old actor was forced to pull out of his It Takes Two appearance last night due to illness, which has cast doubt on whether he will be able to perform on Saturday night.Adam was also suffering last week and was banned from rehearsals to avoid a flu outbreak among the cast.A Strictly spokesperson has told the Mirror that "the health and wellbeing of the cast" is an "absolute priority" to them, and plans are currently being drawn up if Adam is no longer able to perform in the Halloween special episode.Concerns began when Adam was forced to pull out of his appearance on It Takes Two, leaving partner Luba Mushtuk to go it alone on the show.

Luba explained to viewers that Adam was too sick to appear in front of the cameras and needed to rest.This Strictly drama has come after news arose that Amanda Abbington quit the series after initially pulling out of last week's live show for 'medical reasons.'It Takes Two presenter, Fleur East, told viewers about Adam's illness, as she said: "Unfortunately Adam is feeling a bit under the weather, but please give it up for the lovely Luba Mushtuk." Luba responded: "It's so strange to be here by myself. [Adam] is resting now.

He just didn’t feel very well but he is resting and getting ready for tomorrow night."Adam has not posted online since he revealed his wife and two children were travelling down from Manchester to see him in action this weekend.A
