A Strictly Come Dancing judge is said to be in danger of getting the boot from the series next year.It is claimed that Anton Du Beke - despite being the most recent arrival on the Strictly judging panel - could be set for a shock exit from the BBC show in 2024, according to bookies’ predictions. As reported by the Mirror, the latest odds from Ladbrokes reveal the 57-year-old is just 4/1 to be replaced on next year’s series.

Anton was brought in as a new judge after Bruno Tonioli left the show in 2021 to focus on US series Dancing with the Stars.Anton, who appeared as a pro dancer on the British ballroom series from 2004 to 2019, was announced as his permanent replacement after originally stepping in for Bruno.

He joined usual judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Head Judge Shirley Ballas on the panel. However, while some fans seem to love Anton, others have called him the “worst judge ever”.Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Worst ‘judge’ ever – can never give constructive criticism, just makes ridiculous noises.

Should just have three judges.”Another commented: “He’s awful! The pantomime critiques after every dance is excruciating to watch.
