Local clubs will have the opportunity to share their views with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.As part of the leisure trust’s plans to engage with local clubs, it has begun consulting through workshops to allow clubs and communities to engage with the trust and share their views.The engagements will help clubs and local community groups access information which could support the function of their organisations.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The event was presented by the chief executive of Motherwell FC Community Trust, Dawn Middleton, and the external funding ream at South Lanarkshire Council.The second event will be on how to grow a winning club and will focus on club development, finance, sustainability and club structure.

This session will be held on April 26 from 6pm until 8pm at Chatelherault Country Park. This event will be presented by Dr Andrew Jenkin from Club Development Scotland and the council’s external funding team.The next event will be a community asset transfer update which will focus on funding and governance.
