Soccer Aid is back for another year as the charity football match aims to raise money for charity. The game, in aid of Unicef, will feature two teams of former professionals and celebrity players who will feature in a World and England XI.
Among those taking part in the game at Old Trafford on Sunday night is former footballer and current sports journalist Karen Carney.
Karen, 35, played as a winger and midfeidlers and had stints at Arsenal, Birmingham City, Chicago Red Stars and Chelsea. Karen also played 144 times for England - and at the time of her retirement in 2019 was the second most-capped Lioness of all time. Since retiring from the game Karen is now a regular broadcaster for live football, for both men's and women's matches, for Sky Sports Amazon Prime and ITV.
