TMZ reported Monday that law enforcement told them no foul play is suspected in the late soap opera star and “Beverly Hills, 90210″ actor’s death, but his official cause of death is awaiting toxicology tests.Police reportedly suspect that Gail, 58, may have overdosed, but it is unknown what types of substances they are considering in the case.

The Post has contacted a rep for Gail for comment.Gail’s sister, Katie Colmenares, confirmed his death Saturday in an Instagram post, writing, “There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side.”She continued, “Always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me the bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another.”Gail is possibly best known for his role as Stuart Carson — Brenda Walsh’s (ShannenDoherty) one-time fiancé — in “Beverly Hills, 90210.”Doherty honored Gail in an Instagram Story on Monday with a captionless photo of the pair dancing.

Peter Ferriero, host of a “Beverly Hills, 90210” rewatch podcast with the show’s producers Charles Rosin and Larry Mollin, also paid tribute to Gail before Colmenares spoke out. “For those that have contacted me ‘Why is this not showing up on Google?’ Please stop,” Ferriero wrote in an Instagram Story after honoring Gail on the podcast. “The family will report it at the appropriate time to them.
