Eating certain fruits before heading to bed could help you fall asleep faster, a doctor has revealed. Dr Michael Breus, also known as the ‘Sleep Doctor’, hailed one fruit in particular as 'nature's sleeping pill.' He told his 84.4k followers on TikTok that eating a banana before heading to bed could aid better sleep, reports the Liverpool ECHO.

He went on to explain that although many may think eating a banana in the morning will give an energy boost for the day ahead, snacking on the fruit before bedtime could be beneficial for sleep.
