Lanarkshire S6 pupils spoke to a big crowd yesterday at an MSP’s proposed bill launch which would see big polluters jailed for between 10 and 20 years.In a public consultation launched on Wednesday, November 8, Monica Lennon MSP, a Scottish Labour and Co-op representative for Central Scotland, seeks the public’s views on plans to make Scotland the first UK nation to enforce an ecocide law with tough sanctions acting as a deterrent to eco-criminals.S6 pupils from St John Ogilvie High School, Dominic McGrory and Latifa Yakubu, were invited to speak at Ms Lennon’s launch for her proposed bill.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
