Sir Rod Stewart has concerned fans after he was spotted out at the Playhouse Theatre in London on Tuesday with his hand bandaged up.The Maggie May rocker, 79, sported his classic vibrant coloured suit vest, a plain white shirt, a black and gold tie, and a burnt orange coloured jacket with black trousers.

He paired the outfit with some iconic animal print shoes, according to the images reported by the Mirror. However it was his right hand which concerned fans, as it was spotted to be bandaged up following some sort of injury as the white material stuck out in contrast to his colourful attire. The music legend is yet to confirm how he damaged his hand, although he didn't appear to let it dampen his spirits as he enjoyed a night of entertainment alongside a friend.

It comes following Rod going under the knife back in 2020 when he was forced to undergo surgery on his knee after a football injury.

He was spotted using crutches after having a knee replaced - and also underwent ankle fusion surgery around the same time.Discussing his personal upkeep, Rod told The Sun at the time: “My knee got fixed with a knee replacement, so then the ankle didn't know what was going on because obviously it's crooked because of the knees, so now I've had to have the ankle done.”He also kept fans updated on his health via social media, writing online: “After a knee replacement and angle fusion surgery, at 77 I'm back to top fitness in preparation for my long awaited tour dates - and maybe a call up Scotland!!!
