Seth Binzer, the lead singer of the band Crazy Town, who went by his stage name Shifty Shellshock, has passed away at the age of 49.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said the “Butterfly” singer died on Monday (June 24) at his residence in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.
At this time, no cause of death has been released an there’s an investigation underway to figure out how he passed. In 1999, Seth and Bret “Epic” Mazur created Crazy Town and brought on Rust Epique, Doug Miller, James Bradley Jr., Antonio Lorenzo Valli and Adam Goldstein. One of their biggest songs, “Butterfly,” was released the next year.
Our thoughts are with his friends, family, and loved ones during this time. RIP. We’ll update this story if more information becomes available.
