It’s here that you’ll find a huge range of weird and wonderful household products, sporting equipment, and endless other items that often defy categorisation – and that you certainly wouldn’t normally expect to see in what is primarily a food store. The budget chain’s own social media accounts and advertising campaigns even poke fun at the strange items that are sometimes on offer.

The official Aldi website describing the middle aisle as: “A destination full of mystery, magic…and unmissable bargains. A place where mums are transformed into master DIY’ers and where dads discover a love for deep sea diving.”But just how weird does the middle aisle get?
